I know nothing about blogs. I've never read one or written one before. But in the interests of marketing and self-promotion (for my books), here goes - I'm poppin cherry...
As a kid, I tried keeping journals from time to time, but I always lost interest in the practice after a few days at most. I think that's most likely due to the boring nature of my life.
Growing up, I always thought of books as a window into another world, one far more colourful and interesting than ours could ever be. I'd spend hours gazing through that window at other places and other people. I remember those days fondly; I remember climbing forbidden towers and exploring forgotten dungeons, defeating Dark Lords, saving worlds from destruction and learning the importance of a towel on any interplantary journey.
I write because I enjoy the practice. I write because I like to build my own windows for others to look through and hopefully, just maybe, offer others a chance at the same wonder I experienced as a boy.
