It's been a long month for me, one characterised by nothing. That's right, nothing.
Ever since the release of my novella, 'Haven', I've been sitting at home, job searching (in today's digital world, that doesn't take long) in the afternoons and having nothing to do the rest of my day. I've gotten though a couple of seasons of the X-files but that's pretty much my only achievement since then.
At this stage, the next novel in the 'Ebb and Flow of Fate' trilogy, 'Ziz' is still in the concept stage. If I were forced to visualise that process, I'd immedidately think of a monkey in a cage, frantically rattling the bars of its prison while screeching wildly. Eventually, the full plot for 'Ziz' will be ready to come out into the world, but for right now, the monkey is still locked away.
On an unrelated note, I was pretty stoked to see my sales figures have gone up a little for this month.
I write because I enjoy the process and I want my works to be enjoyed by others; I've never been under the illusion that I could quit and write full-time to make a living - world just doesn't work that way. But, I'm still happy to see my works reaching more readers.
Many thanks to all who have read my works.
